The GDRC consists of a small, yet active group of volunteers who work together to provide a variety of recreational pursuits for the Village of Gagetown and our surrounding communities. We meet the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30pm at the Gagetown Community Recreation Centre. New members are always welcome and encouraged to attend!

We provide an array of programs, services, supports, and opportunities (SOPS) to all community members including Summer Soccer, Learn to Play Softball, Youth Leadership, Adopt a Grandparent Program, Adult 55+ Club, Power-Hour Homework Club, Youth and Teen Drop-ins, 3×3 Mini Basketball Programs, Youth Sports Clinics, Hockey, Coed 18+Badminton, Group Fitness Classes, Zumba Fitness, Irish Dance, Summer Camps, March Break Camps, and much more. We have hosted Firearms Safety and Hunter Education classes, First Aid Courses, and more. We host a bi-annual GDRC Bottle Drive as a major fundraising imitative and our biggest event of the year, Canada Day Celebrations.

An annual membership fee of $15 per individual or $40 per family is required and is valid January 1 – December 31 which includes the programs and activities mentioned above (some conditions apply).

For more information about any of our activities or if you would like to join our group, please contact Alyssa at gdrdirector@live.com or (506)433-3013 or (506)262-0291.

Our Mission:

This entity is completely driven by volunteer board members within the Village limit who seek a passion and aspiration for providing quality recreational pursuits to all members of the community.

The GDRC has proven to be a successful driving force in the community and strives to become better each and every year. Although small rural communities have their disadvantages and barriers to participation, the GDRC has made every effort in diminishing all obstacles and barriers to provide a fun and friendly recreational environment for our community and surrounding area.
