The GDRC has partnered with the Gagetown School and the Gagetown Special Care Home to provide our Adopt a Grandparent program. The Adopt a Grandparent program connects seniors with youth volunteers, the Gagetown Schools’ Leadership group, and students within our community. All participants will have the opportunity to participate in various supervised activities including: story-telling, cards, cribbage, chess, art and crafts, table tennis, shuffle board, pool, pumpkin painting, sewing, pottery, jewelry and ornament making, and more. - Starting Friday, October 21st (every Friday excluding PD days, storm days, Holidays, etc.).
- Activities included: Pottery, Stamp Collection, Crafting, Painting, Sewing, BINGO, Board Games, Fire Dept demonstrations, Baking and more!
- This program will be held at the Gagetown Community Recreation Centre (38 Mill Rd) OR the Gagetown Special Care Home (142 Tilley Rd).
- Volunteers are always needed!
