GDRC Reminders

Youth need spaces to connect with one another without being told what to do. A safe, comfortable space where they can hang out, make friends, be themselves—discover and reach their potential. That’s exactly what our Youth Drop In is—a free space just for youth & teens ages 5-16. We are open for youth & teens to come in, relax, enjoy a game of pool, table tennis, snacks, computers, music, crafts, sports, etc. Participants are supervised by staff and/or volunteers. Participants are asked to sign in/out, and complete a GDRC Membership Form.

Here is a LIST of activities and sporting opportunities within our program :

  • Dodgeball, basketball, hockey, skating, ice-hockey, sliding, playground activities, water games, volleyball, tennis, badminton, karaoke, arts and crafts, WII, pool, air-hockey, and so much MORE;
  • We also have an AWESOME canteen with mouth watering TREATS;
  • YTD’s are every other FRIDAY @ 6-8PM (ages 5-16) with the exception of holidays, some PD days, storm days and volunteer/staff availability;
  • Teens ages 16+ MAY volunteer at any time throughout program.
